a pause at the fork in the road

Because sometimes, you have to do something dramatic in order to move mountains.....

As it happens sometimes in life, I realized I was on a path up the wrong mountain for the wrong reasons. Doesn't matter that I was nearly at the top. Doesn't matter -- all the prestige and glory that comes from reaching that peak. Doesn't matter all the energy & effort already spent in order to reach a goal that sacrificed the balance in my life. So I have turned away from the glorious road and decided to take instead a less traveled path... and if you don't mind, I'd like to take this corner of the page to finally share a few thoughts along the way.
